あるお店の特集です＜その２＞ [ 特集・長文レビュー ]
■さてさて、前回の続きです。その１はこちら。
なお、追記になりますが、このお店はRough Tradeの
こっち（Electronica）系に特化した店舗で、昔は店舗がちゃんと
存在していたそうです。現在はネットだけになっちゃったって
事ですね。
・oRfeUs - Glima（Known Water）
このお店は時々、独自のコネ（？）を用いてオリジナルCD-Rを
シリーズとして販売します。このアーティストは
mp3をオンラインでのみ販売していたデンマークの
アーティストとの事。限定30枚という枚数も焦燥感を煽ります。
で、これは中々です。民族音楽っぽい音や、ギターなど
生楽器を多様し、温かみがあります。和やか。
・Heshan And Kork - Into The Ocean（Known Water）
上記シリーズで、oRfeUsの別プロジェクトです。
こちらは電子音が主体ですが、んー、凡庸なイメージ。
JelloのVoileに収録されたO\'verbという
曲に似た印象の曲があったりします。いや似すぎかな。
こちらはボーカル無しですけどね。
・Lewis - Angular Illuminations On Life As We Know It
上記シリーズ第3弾。なんとこちらは15枚限定という恐ろしい数。
15分の○と、数字が入ってたりします。私は「８」でした。
カナダのユニットで、バンドみたいな感じですね。
ベース・ギターが入ったり。んー。1,2曲良い曲があるかなって
感じでしょうか。印象に残らないです。
・Novel 23 - Ni. Sh. Ka. Lu. EP
この人、Shaped Harmonicsのオーナーなんですね。で、その
オーナーの未発表曲4曲を収録したシングルサイズのCDです。
アルバムの形をシングル・サイズに作られた外装も
素敵でなんか幸せ。深く空間のエフェクトを加えた
アナログシンセの音色がかなり素晴らしく、これだけで
メロメロ。その上、ビートの音選びも良いセンスで、
個性もしっかり出ていて良いです。4曲目だけ4つ打ちで
つまらない気もしますが、限定50枚ですしお買い得だと
思います。・・・限定、という言葉にやられすぎですか？
ちなみにオフィシャル・サイトを眺めていたら、
使用機材の写真がありましたので、貼っておきます。

旧ソビエトのオールド・シンセらしいです。えーと
どこをイジれるのかちょっと疑問です。
ていうか歪んでるような・・・。恐るべし旧ソビエト連邦。
・Manta - Head Movement mini l.p.（Psycho Navigation）
電子系ブレイクビーツに、綺麗で和やかなメロディの
上モノが乗る、割とオーソドックスなタイプです。
キックの輪郭が曖昧だったり、音が余り良くなくミキシングの
未熟さが耳につきますが、曲構成などのセンスは良く好印象。
成長が楽しみなアーティストって感じがします。

Manta / Head Movement
・Various Artist - Apegenine Volume 1（Apegenine）
カナダの新しいレーベルのようです。これはサンプラーですね。
試聴サンプルの曲が気になった事と、Merckの
21番のコンピDouble Downの中で耳にして気になっていた
アーティスト・Xhale、それにSurgeryのEpoqといった
マイナーどころの名前を見つけ購入。
全体的にアンビエントで綺麗めな音が揃っています。
んで、目的だったXhaleはダビーな感じで、
結構良かったのですが、それよりも他で気になる人を発見。
1曲目のKaneelというアーティストで、ビットを
崩した音や、後半にかけて強くなるリズムと、ちょっと異彩を
放っており、チェックしてみました。横道に入りますー。
このアーティストはLeenakとかNeelkaと、
アナグラムで名前を変えたりしてます。オフィシャル・サイトで
過去にリリースしたEPなどのmp3を取得出来るのですが、
中々ですよこれは。上モノの空間センスが上手いです。
展開の作り方、繋ぎ方も面白く、今後追っていきたい感じですね。
ちなみにコンピのサンプル曲は最初がMv、後半が
Blisaedです。んー、後者の曲のが私好みでした。
今度はこっちも調査してみたいと思います。・・・げ。
調査してたらこのアーティストのLPがmp3で取れました。
太っ腹ですねー。興味のある方はこちらで。
中々、良いアーティストが多く、聴き返す事が増えそうなコンピで
お勧めです。
■むー。まだあるのですが、大分消化して私も満足したので
残りはまたいずれ。今後、購入する機会はありますので。
しかし、こういうのって需要あるのかと思ったり思わなかったり。
ま、自己満足ですねー。
